Preparation guide
Three things that make test results more accurate
Fasting tests
For fasting sugar and lipid profile, eat nothing after 10 PM and come before 9 AM. Plain water is fine. Take your usual medicines unless your doctor says otherwise.
Full-bladder scans
For lower abdomen and early pregnancy scans, drink 4–5 glasses of water an hour before and hold your urine. A full bladder gives the sonologist a clear view.
What to bring
The doctor’s prescription or requisition slip, previous reports of the same test, and the mobile number you want the report SMS sent to.
